On September 30, 2020, Governor Brian P. Kemp signed Executive Orders, which extended the public health state of emergency and current COVID-19 restrictions. Executive Order 09.30.20.01 extended the public health emergency until November 9, 2020.

Extension of Covid-19 restrictions were addressed in Executive Order 09.30.20.02, which takes effect on October 1, 2020 at 12:00 AM and runs through October 15, 2020 at 11:59 PM.  Under Executive Order 09.30.20.02 , nearly all previous guidelines and restrictions pertaining to the state of Georgia's COVID-19 pandemic response remain unchanged.  The following minimum changes were included:

▪ Following CDC guidance, workers at restaurants and bars may return to work once they have been symptom-free for 24 hours following a known or suspected positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

▪ Allowing for certain SAT/ACT test score deadlines to be extended for HOPE and Zell eligibility
